Packing...

Dinner was ok. Had the crock tail. Taste like chicken. Packing. Tomorrow is moving day...

Victoria Falls.

Second largest falls in the world. Niagra Falls in Canada is third. We were guided for the day by a nice fellow name Mtulesi. He was our driver from Botswana yesterday.

We visited the falls. At times we needed a poncho. We were lucky, usually this time of year you get wet near the Zambia End.

The falls were spectacular. And we got a bit wet. The Olympus E3 is splash proof so water on it except the lens as ok with me.

After the falls, we walked the Victoria Falls Bridge, took some pics of the falls, watched some bungee and other foolish jump related activities.

Pictures from the bridge.

After that we went to an open street market. I never in my life found anything as aggressive as this. Every display owner asking me to look, asking me to buy, asking me for an offer. I got an offer for my Columbia Hat for any stone carving. The hat, years old, travelled Jamaica, Costa Rica, Greece, Turkey, Florida, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and even Zambia since I went past the half way point on the bridge. I'm sure it may have been elsewhere as well, an easy wash hat, I wasn't giving it up.

Many told me they liked my New Balance and they would trade. One guy wanted my socks. I stood firm. No. Paul wasn't as tough and they got his sneakers and hat. He walked back into the hotel shoeless.

After a nice lunch at African Hide, we shopped some more, I helped Paul. I was worried he may lose his drawers.

I bought a hippo, two wart hogs, and a four pack of wart hog shot glasses. I started collecting shot glasses recently from places we travel to. It was a necessity. One poker night at out place, we were doing shooters, with one shot glass. Unacceptable.

Tonight we return to the African Hide for dinner. Great menu, great prices. They will have my table waiting for me. Crock, wart hog, osterich, kudu and other such dishes are on the menu. Yummy.
